Top Ten Tips for Starting Out with PhotoReflect

1. Publish the catalog without photos before the event so that your customers can sign up for notification when the images are uploaded immediately after the event is over. Also collect email addresses while you are at the event so that you can send notification that the photos have been published.

2. Make sure to include any information that will help your customers find the catalog containing their photos quickly and easily. The event name should be accurate, set the date correctly, and use the event description to include any search criteria that your customers might use.

3. Make business cards or other marketing materials to pass out at the event. Be sure to include your storefront’s web address so that your customers can find your storefront easily. A phone number, email address, and physical address (if you have a brick and mortar storefront) are also helpful.

4. Publish photos within 48 hours or less after the event. The majority of your sales will occur within the first few days.

5. Make it as easy as possible for your customers to find their photos. Use photo groups so that they don’t have to sort through large numbers of photos at a time.

6. Use the marketing page option in your storefront to give your customers instructions. If you can answer questions before they arise your customers will have an easier time ordering from you.

7. Make sure you have reliable contact information on your storefront. Customers who have questions will want the answers right away. If they can’t get in touch with you they will simply give up and forget to come back.

8. Use discounts to encourage customers to buy quickly. Once a customer leaves your site you run the risk of them forgetting to return.

9. Use the watermark feature when publishing your event to deter customers from trying to steal your images.

10. Make getting paid even easier with ExpressPay (Direct Deposit)
